Principal / Partner
Dave is a past recipient of the DINZ Outstanding Achievement Award, for his work in furthering New Zealand's design culture. He’s been responsible for the design of many of NZ’s most iconic brands, including the All Blacks.
Group General Manager / Partner
Andy manages the overall performance of all five DCD studios. As a qualified designer with a background in advertising, design and production, there’s no one better placed to understand the many facets of our business.
Group Digital Director / Partner
Jonathan sets the digital strategy and tone of the customer experience for our wider digital team. Working closely with clients, he ensures customers’ digital interactions with brands are relevant, authentic and rewarding.
Group Creative Director / Partner
Andrew is the creative head of DCD. He holds a special interest in bringing together cross-discipline teams to work cohesively. As a creative director for nearly 20 years, he has worked with a number of different Australian and New Zealand retail and corporate clients.
General Manager Wellington
Georgie has spent much of her career at companies such as ANZ and Sky (UK), so she has a huge awareness of what clients want and the pressures they face. She’s also headed account service teams at tech agencies in London.
Senior Digital Producer
Siva has been involved in digital project management for more than 15 years. Formerly a project manager at The Hyperfactory, where he delivered mobile projects for clients in NZ, Australia and USA, his technical know-how is first-rate.
Katie’s a former account director at TBWA in Sydney, where she ran the PR accounts for global giants such as Apple and PlayStation. Armed with infectious enthusiasm, she excels in building relationships, networking, and strategy.
Devin is responsible for all aspects of design and project management. A multiple winner at Best Awards, London International Awards and RED, he specialises in creative platform and communications strategy development.
Digital Design Director
Simon is our go-to guy for the visual design of digital projects. Working with Jonathan on everything from digital guidelines to app design, he marries sound UX engineering with crafted visual solutions to produce beautifully simple experiences.
Spencer champions the customer experience, providing much of the upfront thinking that is critical to the success of our projects. The passionate presenter has a strong understanding of branding after working at agencies like Landor (UK).
Michael has top international experience, having helped in the rebrand of Sky News, PlayStation’s move to HD, and many other projects in the UK. An experienced videographer, he’s both creative and technical lead for motion projects.
Senior Digital Producer
Germaine’s claims to fame include numerous projects that have gone on to win gold at the Best Awards. She’s super talented when it comes to web content strategy, digital marketing, HTML/CSS and – of course – project management.
Antoinette le Vaillant
Antoinette’s our multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze medallist at Best Awards, New Zealand’s premier design award show. What’s more, she’s worked at heavyweight agencies such as Landor and Interbrand in New York.
Senior Digital Producer
Trevor has weaved his organisational magic at just about every good agency in town including the likes of AKQA, Saatchi, and RAPP. His dedication, attention to detail, patience and collaborative approach are well known across the industry.
Gligor is a software engineer with the business savvy and technical know-how to enhance any product under development. He develops highly scalable applications that match user interface designs down to the pixel.
Jane’s extensive retail and digital experience at advertising and brand marketing agencies (here and overseas) has added a new dimension to our account service. She’s a flag bearer for design’s power to build brands and positivity.
Gavin is a print specialist, who has evolved into a slick stylist with a very keen photographic eye. Before joining us he led the design team at Brewin Dolphin, one of the UK’s largest investment managers.
Kember has extensive experience managing brand campaigns and digital projects across multiple channels. In the past decade she’s looked after major clients such as Z Energy, BHP Billiton, ANZ, NZ Post and Apple & Pear Australia.
Mark is the closest thing we have to a machine, such is his efficiency in running our express design service for clients. He’s also an incredibly talented illustrator who has published two comic books. Marvel’s loss is our gain.
Lynne’s a chartered accountant who crunches the number for all five studios in three different countries (no mean feat). She has previously held senior roles at Netball NZ, BBC Worldwide and UK telco, Orange.
Senior Account Manager
Mel’s a former designer who has managed major design projects for Air New Zealand, Lotto, Auckland Transport and Genesis Energy. Today she mostly works across ANZ’s wealth and retail portfolios.
Anna has over 10 years of international marketing experience at digital media companies in London, and advertising and design agencies in Auckland. This broad industry understanding underpins her holistic approach to problem solving. She likes to find the straightest line to the customer, with clear and consistent creative, optimised for each and every touchpoint.
Senior Test Analyst
Raman is best known for his ability to think outside the square and apply innovative test methodologies. We rely on his expertise at every stage of web and mobile testing, from test design to test execution.
Peter wears many hats as studio manager, senior artworker and chief fire warden. After an eternity spent working in print shops, there’s not much this man doesn’t know about print production. He’s the logic to our designers’ creativity.
Jo enjoys unrivalled popularity at Dave Clark Design, as she pays the wages. The former finance manager and accountant keeps an eagle eye on the petty cash box, and guards against any creative accounting practices.
Senior Web Developer
Ray operates with the efficiency of a Swiss clock on back as well as front-end developments. A smart coder who is committed to robust testing, he drives many of our decisions on CMS, social media and banner work.
Diego Maia Evangelista
Senior Mobile Designer
Diego is all about usability and creating exceptional user experiences. As an experienced front-end developer, he’s also an expert when it comes to striking a balance between the technical and the creative.
Adrian is our annual reports guru and a safe pair of hands for any creative rollout. Before arriving at DCD, the print and layout specialist was crowned MPA Magazine Designer of the Year for his work on Idealog, Urbis, and Good.
Senior Web Developer
Adrian’s a fantastic Drupal developer who doesn’t mind a bit of JQuery, AngularJS, Python, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, Docker, Vagrant, Git, Fabric, Ansible, Amazon S3, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Bash, Linux, Gulp, and Karma too.
Jacinta’s eye for photography and dedication to craft – best demonstrated in her graduate campaigns for Buddle Findlay (a law firm) – gives our work a real ‘cool factor’. She’s worked at agencies across Australia and New Zealand.
Flip’s 20-year career in design has taken him across the UK, central Europe and NZ. A former designer at Rolls-Royce, BMW and Adidas, he adds an incredible amount of wisdom to our understanding of design processes.
Senior Digital Designer
Tim has worked on major digital projects for the likes of Te Papa and NZ Festival of the Arts. His strong understanding of project management, strategy and front-end development are all vital to the success of our digital projects.
Jane started her design career on the client side, with a prestigious national law firm. Then she freelanced for a year to find the perfect design agency to call home. Ten years later she’s still with us. Jane is the queen of craft, a perfectionist who loves to construct engaging online experiences through pixel-perfect design for mobile and web applications.
Gerry’s our seasoned scriptwriter and editor who previously worked at ad agencies like Ogilvy and Young & Rubicam, on accounts such as BP, Sanitarium, Liquorland, Unilever and Burger King. He even did a TVC with the All Blacks.
Danielle learnt from the best at Designworks, where she ran major projects for mega brands like Fonterra and DB Breweries. She’s a star on the rise, with the problem-solving powers and personality to go a long way.
Reuben is the face of our marketing and the drive behind our tender processes. If we ever want to know anything about Google Analytics, AdWords, Hubspot, Craft (or the NBA) he’s the man we turn to.
Sandra is a former category manager with retail giant, The Warehouse. Her understanding of customer purchasing decisions and behaviours plays a huge role in our creation of consistent customer journeys across touchpoints.
Brad is slowly but surely conquering every design discipline. First, he was a graphic designer at the best ad agencies. Then he rose to the top of app design and collected a Best Award. Now he’s into motion because he loves 3D.
Michael still remembers the days of letterset because he’s been artworking for 30 years … everywhere from Saatchis to Dave Clark Design. It’s his (very important) job to check all designers’ work is technically ready to print.
Liam designs and builds web and native applications with a focus on beautiful UX/UI. This is one man who keeps pace with new technologies and build processes. In the words of Jonathan Tillick, ‘he’s smart, he gets it, and he’s into the details’.
Emy is steadily building her industry cred on the back of a bachelor’s degree in spatial design and creative entrepreneurship. She’s already got valuable experience in public relations, brand activation and experiential marketing.
