VetSouth is a chain of vet practises in the south that needed a digital partner that could bring to life its ‘here for good’ story, and further shape its online brand. What’s more, the website had to appeal to newly qualified vets, position its VetQuest sub-brand as a leader in clinical research, and be future-proofed to incorporate other vet practices that it acquired.
Sort the wheat from the chaff
Taking a mobile-first perspective, we created a strong content hierarchy and clear user journeys for people to discover each of the vet clinic’s services. There was a lot of information on the old site that wasn’t required, so we stripped it back in order for key messages to pop.

Optimising for ease
The content management system was tailored to the needs of VetSouth administrators. And the entire site was optimised, taking into account factors such as image compression, server response testing, and CSS delivery. All of this was built in Drupal, which we recommended for its mass scalability, rock solid security, powerful modules, and SEO-friendly framework.
For the good of farmers
The website is now future-proofed in terms of both information architecture and customer experience. There are clear user journeys for production and companion animal services, and enhanced search functionality that makes it easier to find the right vet.
